About Jharkhand Board (JAC)
The Jharkhand Board known as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) was set up in November 2000 to hold and conduct examinations for secondary and higher secondary classes every year and also to carrying out other miscellaneous duties assigned to the board by the State Govt at different times.
Conducted under the Jharkhand state Legislature and assented Act, the Jharkhand Board’s main aim is to improve and control the education level in the state. The JAC Board conducts 10th and 12th class examinations for the students of Jharkhand.
