Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) would conduct the High School Certificate (HSC) Supplementary examinations in Odisha from June 17 to 23. This was informed by the BSE president D P Nanda to the media on Thursday.
Earlier, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) was contemplating to hold this examination between May 30 and May 5 with an aim to publish the results by June-end so as to ensure that the successful students pursue their higher studies immediately without wasting another academic year.
“But due to the heavy workload arising out of the anomalies in the results of the annual HSC examination, it was not practically possible to hold the supplementary examination from May 30 and, accordingly, we decided to postpone the examination to June 17,” said BSE president Dakhya Prasad Nanda on Thursday.
